Réflexions

This story reminds us that true organizational strength does not come from choosing between tradition and change, but from allowing both to work together. Elders are not obstacles to progress, and youth are not threats to stability. Each generation carries something essential, and growth happens when those strengths are shared rather than competed over. One key lesson is that leadership is not about holding power forever, but about preparing others to carry it forward. Elders who mentor, listen, and gradually step aside leave behind more than memories—they leave capable leaders. At the same time, youth must recognize that innovation is strongest when it is rooted in understanding the history and values that came before.

My advice to the audience is this: build bridges, not boundaries, between generations. If you are an elder, invest your wisdom generously and trust the energy of youth. If you are a young leader, be bold in your ideas but humble in your learning. Ask questions, respect experience, and don’t be afraid to lead.

When generations walk together, organizations don’t just survive—they evolve, remain relevant, and inspire the future.
